Join JBF Greens at Txikito for a sumptuous celebration of Spanish tradition in Chelsea.
JBF Greens will enjoy a six-course dinner from Alex Raij and Eder Montero, the husband-and-wife chef team behind Txikito. The duo opened the eatery ten years ago as a love letter to the mountainous Basque country along the French border in Spain—a region whose soulful and inventive cuisine is distinguished by excellence and simplicity in both ingredients and techniques. For this special autumn evening, Raij and Montero will transport you to San Sebastián with contemporary and traditional flavors and ingredients inspired by the rich abundance and history of Basque country.
Obviously there will be Arlo :)
Come have lunch and drink cider with us! we are pouring the collaborative draft cider from Shackbury and La Garagista. We’ll have other special pours from both producers. It will be a nice civilized way to kick off the debaucherous week.
Sweets, tarts, bittersweets and all, we're just crazy for real hard apple cider! Nothing provides a better foil for the rich complexity of cheese like the beverage of choice of our colonial forebears. Join us as we explore the world of lovingly fermented and undeniably delicious hard ciders and pair them with our favorite cheeses, ranging from buttery creaminess to earthy intensity to meaty richness. This season, cider’s the thing—you won’t want to miss this special pairing event!
This cider session, we have invited the team from Shacksbury Cider to indulge in pairing with us for the evening. A bit about Shacksbury and their mission is included below.
"Far from ordinary, apples are the most diverse food plant on earth. Unfortunately, only a handful of varieties are cultivated at scale in America, and all of those are designed for eating, not cider making. At Shacksbury, we believe cider can, and should, be daring and complex. From gnarled trees on New England farmsteads to Old World orchards in England and Spain, our cider will change the way you think about this amazing fruit."
We're finishing off our Baltimore Cider Week events with a solo night at Wet City. Come chat with us all about how our cider is made and what makes it different. Also, we'll be collaborating with the fantastic kitchen crew at Wet City to come up with some fun food pairings for the ciders we're pouring, so grab a bite to eat while you're there! Pour the Core at the B&O Railroad Museum (link to tickets: http://www.pourthecore.com/baltimore/tickets.html). This is a great chance to try a wealth of different ciders, in addition to your perennial favorite (Shacksbury, of course!). Pour the Core is a cider festival that occurs a couple of times a year in different locations. They're always great fun, but seeing as this one coincides with CiderCon, the biggest cider industry event, this should be a special one.

Wright Bros. Brew & Brew x Flood Distribution
Maybe the largest tap takeover in history? Maybe not, but it will definitely be a good time. We are featuring Flood Distribution and all the amazing craft beer brands they carry. Flood and ourselves have a lot of things in common and share a lot of the same ideas, values and opinions about craft beer and the rules, regulations and difficulties craft brewers face. So we thought we'd throw a party in honor of that.
Tap list to be posted soon, but till then, heres a sneak of the breweries we will have on tap.
