JBF Greens will enjoy a six-course dinner from Alex Raij and Eder Montero, the husband-and-wife chef team behind Txikito. The duo opened the eatery ten years ago as a love letter to the mountainous Basque country along the French border in Spain—a region whose soulful and inventive cuisine is distinguished by excellence and simplicity in both ingredients and techniques. For this special autumn evening, Raij and Montero will transport you to San Sebastián with contemporary and traditional flavors and ingredients inspired by the rich abundance and history of Basque country.

Pour the Core at the B&O Railroad Museum (link to tickets: http://www.pourthecore.com/baltimore/tickets.html). This is a great chance to try a wealth of different ciders, in addition to your perennial favorite (Shacksbury, of course!). Pour the Core is a cider festival that occurs a couple of times a year in different locations. They're always great fun, but seeing as this one coincides with CiderCon, the biggest cider industry event, this should be a special one.
CiderCon at Max's Taphouse. Come to one of the best beer and cider bars our nation has to offer. Max's will be featuring some of the most small batch, interesting ciders that we make. Most of this stuff doesn't even make it out of Vermont, so come to Max's for what may be your only chance to taste these beauties (unless you join our Cider Club or visit us at our home base in Vergennes, Vermont!)
